Mortgage insurer Radian continued to grow its business, writing $5.29 billion in new primary mortgage insurance in July, up from $4.76 billion in June.
Radian (RDN) began the month with 78,257 loans in its delinquent inventory and ended the period with 77,142 delinquencies on file.
Meanwhile, 5,800 new delinquencies were filed for the month, which was offset by 4,798 cures, 2,004 paid-off mortgages and 113 rescissions and denials.
