Investors snatched up unwanted houses in the hardest hit states after the housing crisis, an article in the Financial Times explained. But with the changes in the housing market, investors are questioning how to bring in income from the properties?
“Investors are focused on the short term, but the long term is that there are still several million homeowners in some stage of distress that are likely to become renters,” Jade Rahmani, analyst at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, said.
