As director of finance, Nzau Mutisya has played an instrumental role in shaping Qualia’s sales operations, customer success, finance and operations teams.

Mutisya joined Qualia in 2016 as a founding team member of the sales and customer success team. Since then, he has helped build out the sales operations, onboarding, and customer success divisions, worked on all things numbers and metrics, and driven the establishment of new revenue channels. Today, Mutisya is Qualia’s Director of Finance where he is responsible for overseeing Qualia’s financial metrics, unit economics, and pricing plans. In this capacity, Mutisya has also helped manage many of Qualia’s fundraising processes. To date, Qualia has raised $95 million from investors such as Bienville Capital, 8VC, Menlo Ventures, and Tiger Global. On top of this, Mutisya also spearheads select strategic initiatives, such as the launch of Qualia’s bank partnership channel, a supplement to the company’s Reconciliation offering.
