Another CO law firm caught in AG investigation

An attorney who blew the whistle on a Colorado foreclosure law firm over its handling of foreclosure-related expenses testified during a court hearing Thursday.

The Denver Post covered the hearing in which the attorney took to the stand to discuss what she considers to be alleged bill-padding at the law firm of Aronowitz & Mecklenburg in Denver.

The hearing was held to discuss the whistleblower's role at the firm, the publication reported.

The law firm is considered to be the second-largest foreclosure firm in the state and is now the subject of an attorney general investigation into foreclosure-related billing practices.
